How it works
Access can involve bank transfers, mobile-money rails, stablecoins or crypto-only transfers depending on the service. Provider support can change, and a platform serving Kenya may not be licensed locally as an investment firm.
What to check
Use official provider country-support pages and Kenyan regulator notices rather than old comparison articles. Check whether new registrations, fiat deposits and withdrawals are currently supported.
- Verify current Kenya support
- Check fiat rails separately
- Do not equate access with local licensing
Limits and risks
Availability is not the same as regulatory approval. A service operating in Kenya can still be governed by an overseas entity or a developing local framework.
